Things to bring for the test
1. $15 exact change. If you fail the test you may take it again for $15. If you pass the test you may take the next one for free.
2. 2 pieces of ID. One with a picture.
3. For people without a call sign....You must register with the FCC and receive a FRN . Without it, you will not be able to take the exam. This will be needed for the 605 application.
4. Copies and originals of unexpired CSCEs if you want credit for a test, or a copy of a current unexpired amateur radio license. (The license copy is needed to be mailed to ARRL with your paperwork and will not be returned)
5. A pencil with an eraser, pen and a calculator if needed with cleared memory. Scrap paper will be handed out.
6. If you have a call sign, please have a copy of your license to be handed in with paperwork.
Thanks

If you are in the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (PA) area, the Murgas Amateur Radio Club offers testing. Meetings are on the first Wednesday of every month at 8 PM. Tests are held before the meetings. Pre-registration is required. No walk-ins. To pre-register, send an email to Rick at k3tow@arrl.net. Other things that you will need are the same as what "Bowlegged 69" mentioned in his posting, above.

See you there,

Phil K2PG and WRXA276
