FCC fee increase notice

So,

got the new repeater up and getting the guys licensed last week @ 65.00ea.  One of the guys comes over to finally get his and in one day the fee increased $5.00 for a total of $70.00.

 

We joked that the FCC must have noticed all the new licensed people in Central Tx and decided to hike up the fee..

I just got my GMRS license last week.  When I applied, the form said the fee was now $80, however, when I checked out with my credit card, the charge was only $70.  I guessing they may be raising the price again shortly, and the database hasn't caught up yet.

Likely a typo. I've seen nothing indicating further fee increases.
