Issues with listing my own repeater.

I have been trying to list my own machine for some time and I do not know if anyone else is having the same issue. 
the requirement to move the icon to some unknown location to list the machine has been a hindrance to listing my machine. 
if anyone knows a work a work around to this please use the icon to show your location issue I would love to know.

I had the problem with dropping the pin on the map, but there was no option to do that.  I tried submitting without the pin, and then the pin just appeared on the map, so I dragged it to the right location.  So now, I have my repeater listed, but can't get a node number.  I select the repeater, hit the "Generate" button and nothing happens.  I'm at a standstill.
