I was wondering if anyone knew of any reason, I might be getting a repetitive dead carrier on 462.6125 that is disrupting my KG1000G scanning. It doesn't happen all the time but when it does it is a constant dead carrier on for about 2 seconds off for a second and then repeats. When I try to just scan GMRS it is constantly hanging up the scan. I could skip it and sometimes do, but this morning I decided to go out while it was happening with a different radio, the same thing was happening. Different radio antenna and some 7 miles away. I'm receiving it on my base at home as well as my mobile. I originally thought it may be something in my house causing it but i left all that behind. The only thing I could think of I was taking with me in both places were my Tahoe and my mobile phone. I turned my cell phone off but it still existed. When this happens, it can continue for several hours to 15 minutes or less. Any ideas or suggestions.
