entered value changed by the radio

TD-H3: Chirp and manual programing both work, except the direction that I enter(plus) gets changed back to none when I check it. Everything else, including offset value, stays as entered. Therefore can receive great, but cannot open the repeater to transmit. Trying to program a 2 meter repeater into channel 31. Does mode (ham or normal) matter? What am I doing wrong?  Going to try OEM software this morning.

If you’re trying to talk to a non gmrs repeater in gmrs mode it won’t work and vise versa.  Do you have a license for the non gmrs repeater?  The h3 seams to be a very confusing radio with lots of software bugs.  It seams like it has a new issue every week just on this site let alone other forums as well.  This might be a setting issue, a user issue or a radio problem.
