In the user manual it says there is a frequency hopping feature for these radios. Has anybody tried it? If so what were the results?

I was setting up a new AR-5RM i decided to test the swr level for the antenna in the box the meter showed 3-4. I started testing my other antennas. Some of the antennas were kind of high, 6-7. Then I noticed while keying the radio if I touched the swr meter the reading would drop, in some cases down to 1.1-1.5. As soon as it stopped touching the meter the readingbwould shoot back up. I tested the antennas on frequencies 462-467. Could the antennas be having a grounding issue or is there something else I'm overlooking? Thanks for any help.

I need some help. I have a Baofeng UV-82C. I cant get it to switch to "channel mode". I have done several searches and looked at several more youtube videos. In all of them it says high lite the upper frequency then turn the radio off, press and hold the menu button then turn the radio on. It should switch back to channel mode. Mine is stuck in frequency mode. Is there something different with the 82C radios vs the other 82 series radios? Thanks for any help.
