Looks to be stoopid easy to get an Arduino to do this - There's already morse code software available for it. It can't do regular audio I/O but can output a tone. I think I'll go ahead and do it and publish a "how to" for everybody

Does anyone make a plug'n'play IDer for an RT97S repeater? Morse code only is OK. I'd prefer one that only ID's when the repeater was used in the last 15 minutes - and only does it every 15 minutes when active - and doesn't "talk" over a user but waits to the end of a transmission. Is all that too much to ask? LOL If I can't find something prebuilt I think I could cobble something together from a cheap Arduino - a Raspberry PI is way overkill and stoopid expensive at the moment ...

I just added one and am already getting access requests from people that are well outside it's present range - Oy Vey.
