  1. I'm still going to have minor issues going forward, but something fortunate occurred to me today. When we first bought these radios and had received them; I misplaced mine at some point during the day. We mutually decided that we should apply the 'two is one, one is none' adage and hopped online and bought another one which became our backup once I found mine later that same day. All this time, it's been sitting in the box downstairs. So I got it out, hooked it up to Chirp and downloaded the channels; printed that off, then grabbed mine and step by step, duplicated the OE channel list and re-uploaded that back into my handset. Now, I'm currently (since I know them) working on putting in the repeater tones for the repeater I showed earlier. Then at least for this repeater, I should be set. Thank you all, again WRUD380
  2. I use Chirp, but that doesn't tell me where I should put channels. It allows me to make changes. It's those changes that I need to know where to make; did that make sense?
  3. First, thanks to those that helped out the other day. Much appreciated. I have a new question. This too is about repeaters, set up on a Wouxun KG-935G; when programming a repeater into your handset, would you load that in the repeater section or in the general channels? Or somehow a mix? I'm going to attempt to load a screenshot of what I'm attempting to do. https://mygmrs.com/repeater/4940
  4. @back4more70 That seems to have been the solution. Thanks to all who answered. Now I have new questions. Is there a more or less default offset for repeaters? And using the aforementioned device, how do you search for tones using this thing? If you know.
  5. I can't figure out how to reply on here, so I'll try this in a while to see if that resolves it. I hadn't looked. I don't recall changing any setting in that category, but who knows.
  6. I asked this earlier, but somehow my sign in info was corrupt. I bought two KG-935G units roughly a year ago when they were first released. Then bought another as a spare. My wife's still works the same as it did initially, but she doesn't mess with hers which may be the reason mine has a problem now. I, for some reason can no longer get my unit into the 462 frequencies. I need to reach a couple of repeaters in my area that are in that frequency. Every time I try and manually type the repeater frequency, it instantly goes to something like 463.02500, something similar. I can't check right now because my radio is downstairs charging. I tried looking at my wife's for a setting that's different than on my radio, but didn't notice anything. I'd like to try a full reset to see if that brings all the original bandwidth back. I use Chirp, but can't find anything on there that will make a restore, even though I've found similar wording. Anyone have any ideas or a known fix?
