I contacted the seller and they said to try to find a base file for the repeater upload it save it then renter my frequencies then write to radio. Not sure where to find that lol

How do you pull a code plug?

I can run the programming software and see the frequencies that are programmed in. Rx 467.6750 Tx 462.6750 127.3 tone on handheld of course I have those flipped

Yes the duplexer was tuned and the frequencies are correct put the frequencies in backward on the repeater and regular on the hand held. No i don’t have a way to pull a code plug. I even tried putting in a simplex channel and got nothing. The mic won’t key it up. Used another handheld in simplex to talk to the 7000 and got nothing there also.

Vertex 7000 programmed with brand new duplexer from buy2wayradios.com when I key up my hand held nothing happens on the repeater. Tried a few different radios. Yes the tones are correct checked them a few times. Anybody have experience with these repeaters?

Building a repeater for my local neighborhood just wondering if anybody has any recommendations for the best antenna! Distance wise we are in hill country lots of mountains and trees. Repeater site is on a mountain 1200 feet.

I have 2 tyt9800 quad band radios and found a guy on eBay selling cables to make them run as a repeater. Has anyone else tried this?
