The only repeater in my area is the glascow repeater. There is Kars in Louisville that I got permission to use when I go up there, it's not I'm range of my home, and haven't gotten it programmed right yet I guess.

I live in kentucky and am new to radios. I was looking at the nets map and it doesn't appear that any net systems or repeaters are covered to connect to nets.

New to gmrs wsaq499 I haven't been able to connect to Any people yet. I live in horse cave ky. How would I go about connecting to people and nets or nodes?
