Not really that hard and I’m on my phone.
One I pulled up had the name and address etc but you can click the link and it opens in Google Maps.
Pick a blue dot and click on the direction arrow.
This is exactly why I went and registered on Ham Registry through OffRoaderX YouTube channel (plus a month free I think )
I usually go direct from the battery and use an isolation switch if needed.
Old school and my old Jeeps (‘74CJ5; ‘80CJ7; ‘84 CJ8; ‘86 CJ7 and my old Willys) I have to manually turn things off so it’s easier for me etc.
Agreed, and I’ve done that before but I was just hinging off the other comment of not being able to do so.
Agreed 100%
Thank you and thank you for your videos, they help me tremendously.
This is exactly why you need a P.O. Box or Ham Registry etc.
I do believe (might be mistaken) the FCC web site specifically tells you that your address etc is public, it is your job on how you go about that privacy (I would think ).
I use HRegistry upon watching someone's video that resides on here and talks about "SAD HAMS" all the time (which is fine by me).
If I ever wanted to cancel and run into the problems listed above, then I would just stop payment, or close the PPal acct.
Seems pretty easy to do that, plus when all the banks fail, and we go digital, it really won't matter because the FCC isn't looking for you anyway, they will either be overwhelmed or out of business in regards to a world who gives them the finger.
Just an opinion,
Can I take this 50' cable and say attach another 18' (connector to connector) to get my desired length and not suffer a great DB loss instead of buying 100'?
If not, then 100' it would have to be.
Thanks,
I couldn't find anything on CHIRP to program my UV-5G so I used the GM-5RH tab and everything worked and uploaded the repeaters etc to the UV-5G if this is what you are asking.
Very welcome.
Please read the first Posting, helped when I went outside obviously and I guess it was the right time of night.
I'm only about two miles from the Gulf (inland) w/trees etc.
Last night in the house (Palm Harbor, Fla) I was able to have comms w/Panama City, Fla and Bradenton, Fla
Was scratchy in the house, but when I went outside, it was clear comms to both locations off of repeater 575 Tampa.
Hello, I was looking to subscribe annually to myGRMS.com and I'm finding either a "Pay with Link" or CCard.
I would prefer to use Paypal at this time if that is another option.
I did notice this at the bottom of the webpage: (Payout of membership fees is by PayPal account or paper check.) Maybe I'm misunderstanding this, not sure.
Any help would be appreciated in direction to Paypal, if not I'll just have to use a CCard.
Thank you,
