About Me

Got back into radio after about a 40 year hiatus from being in the Civil Air Patrol in the late 1970s.  Back then I had an ancient Motorola 2 Meter in the car and Heathkit HW-18 which I was able to talk to Hawaii from Redmond WA.  Picked up my HAM license a few years ago and just recently GMRS license with interest in introducing this to my grandson.  Fun times :)
