  1. Its Baofeng BF-F8HP and Tidradio TD-H3 set as GMRS. The TDR is ON. I didn't realize that's the Simultaneous Receive (the acronym TDR confused me).
  2. That might be. Although I doubt it. But nevertheless, I will try and see next time I am monitoring. Just to be sure. I would have to do that after work, unfortunately. Thanks.
  3. Not sure if the Baofeng has the simultaneous receive on/off but I will re-read the manual. Thanks.
  4. Noobie question, and my Google-fu failed to find me an answer. I just need some guidance what to do or what to look for. I probably messed up my settings but I dont know which one. While monitoring / on stand by, I am receiving the same transmission / conversation on multiple frequeuncies. Example would be while I am RX on 462.650, I am also receiving the same on 462.575. Also, when I am scanning, I can RX the same trnasmission on 446.420 and 448.400 and even at 147.915 (these last three are programmed in consecutive memory channels). This is happening for both BAOFENG and TIDRADIO (I know, I know, but those are the only ones I can afford at the moment). Thanks in advance.
  5. UPDATE - Tidradio replaced the non-tranmitting one, no questions. So
  6. I have the same issue on one of two TD-H3 I bought as a pack and I did the exact same troubleshooting (except updating the firmware which seems to be the latest version). I sent an email to Tidradio yesterday -> waiting for response. I next reached out to Amazon and they sent an email to Tidradio, then they walked me through how to make a complaint, and then they said that if I dont receive a response from Tidradio, to reach back to amazon for replacement or return. Looks like a quality control issue. I wonder if Tidradio has more than one assembly line. I do have two Baofengs that hit the repeaters. The set up for all four are the same.
  7. BTW does desense happen on TX as well? I thought that's a concern on RX.
  8. Nor really. I only do that to test. But otherwise i turn off the other one and in the box when I'm trying to connect.
  9. Thanks. Will do.
  10. Hi OffRoader, thanks a bunch! First, the easy one. "CV" I believe means Coachella Valley since the repeated is in this area. Two, I am on repeater 5 with RX and TX tone set at D072N. Reason why I say I cannot seem to transmit is becasue I can receive conversations but I can't seem to reach out to anyone. I have two radios. When I TX on one, the other seems to acknowledge it becasue there's a static sound somehow. and vice versa. But I really dont know if users are receiving me. Also, on CHIRP, the DTCS Polarity is set to "NN", and i am not sure if that is the correct one.
  11. Hi there. I've been approved access to CV GMRS (462.650, D072N, the offset I believe is at +5.000). I can receive via TIDRADIO TD-H3 but I cannot seem to transmit. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.
