  1. I have the Tidradio TD-H3. Great radio. TX/RX are super! I just got a Radioddity GM-30 Pro and am becoming familiar with it. I like it , too. I have been talking to a repeater with both some 39 miles away. Folks have said they are both crystal clear. Best of luck to ya.
  2. Drove around a bit near my home and was able to KERCHUNK one repeater about 6.5 miles away. I set up this radio manually, using the corresponding RPT channel. I added the CTCSS TX code only. I then saved the channel to another memory slot. I re-verified the original RPT channel to make sure it did not store the codes, and it DiD NOT. Also, by using the corresponding RPT channel, the offset was already set and when the mic button was pressed it DID display the proper 467 frequency. All appears to be working.
  3. @WRYS709 Thanks! Than it should work. I’ll give it a try as that’s what I’ve done. I downloaded the app only. I don’t have a repeater I can consistently reach at home but I have them in the area, so I’ll check and get back.
  4. Just got a new GM-30 Pro. I cannot find step by step instructions on how to setup repeater operations for this radio. The manual is of little help. I’ve searched here and found nothing I can use to make it work. I know it’s probably how I’m setting it up. If I do not add the +5.0000 when I hit transmit it stays on the 462 freq. I am not setting a RX CTCSS tone. I am setting the TX CTCSS tone. My TD-H3 works flawless, so I do have a good idea how it works. I am adding the repeater channel manually. I have tried using the RPT channels as a template, as well as creating my own. Neither works. Please help me figure this one out. Thanks!
  5. This radio was faulty. they sent me a new one and it is baked in and it works perfectly.
  6. M38 driver here……When a jeep was a JEEP! Still going after 74 years.
  7. This radio is a GMRS model and has 22 GMRS channels and 8 RPT channels. I have the frequencies/tones for nearby repeaters but not sure whether I need to put in the offset/direction. The manual says nothing about it being ‘baked in’. Would it hurt if it were manually input? Would it add another 5.000 to it?
  8. New guy here and learning what I can. In my readings it sounded like making a new channel for repeaters is best; ie. Channel 31. Do I need to input the offset/direction or is it auto/hardcoded in the H3GMRS radio? thanks.
