  6. one Radio is setup to hit the repeater, the other one is not. the radio thats setup to hit the repeater I set two channels up based on the info I got from the repeater section of this site. one channel is setup 123.0 using tsquelch , the other channel is set with tone option 123.0. I wanted to see which is correct to get a response from the repeater. i posted a picture of how I programmed the main radio with the setup in my original post.

  10. Here is my findings. I have setup an HT programmed via CHIRP with two different tone settings for this REPEATER: WRPB502 WX4DAB REPEATER 1 set with TSQL 123.0 REPEATER 2 set with TONE 123.0 Second Radio is on GMRS CH15 which is received on REPEATER B clear... but cant transmit back out of REPEATER 2 or 1 to Second Radio.... Any thoughts?
  11. Let us know how that goes.
  12. Thanks for all the input! Oh, and if you are a DAD, Happy Father's Day in advance!
  13. Yes I use CHIRP for programming my radios.

  18. Whoa... thats alot.... I know that car is not on the road. I'd speed up just to keep a distance...lol if lightning was to strike i know its hitting one of those antenna (hopefully that never happens, just saying)
  19. If you use FB on your phone its tracking you as well, Google maps keep track of your locations as well.
  20. Yes this is correct, the continuous pinging was put into effect back in mid 90's early 2000's for the purpose of 911 being able to get your location if you were calling for help. The only way to stop it is to take your battery out. even powering it off will still send an LNL(last known location) ping just before its fully off.

So is there any other way of contacting the owner besides FB, thats kind strange to only use that as a means of communication. I haven't had great success getting my access to my account since it was disabled in Nov of last year. I don't use it much so I was a bit confused as to why. So if there is any other way to request access please let me know, thanks
