My grandkids are getting to the age they can handle a two way radio I have a couple of old Uniden that are somewhat limited. I would like to get some ideas for purchasing a couple of entry level radios that support repeaters. (I am very comfortable with radio programming from using ham radio. What have you found works for you and kids, and what features should I look for. Right now, they are both under 7, but very good with technology. We are into hiking and biking. We are usually doing line of sight stuff, but there are some places, like waterton canyon and roxborough park where line of sight is sporadic. Thanks in advance -Bob WRCJ475, K1BJR
