Spent 10 years in the emergency services and always had a fascination with GMRS, HAM, CB and such. Had a CB handheld as a kid and a mobile in my car growing up. Never really took the jump into Amateur Radio until recently. Plan to study and get a HAM license as well. Probably will end up having my own tower within 10 years. Currently play in the industrial automation and controls sector with a background in IT and light network engineering.
