Hey Dan, I'm in southern California also, and suggest that you look into Crest comms. They have a repeater located on Santiago Peak, near Corona, and they have a great signal. You'll have to signup for access to the repeater (free), and sign an agreement, but it's an easy process and they get back to you quickly. Todd
