    Are GMRS antennas directional when mounted on a vehicle. In the past CB antennas when mounted on the left rear of a vehicle. The signal would primarily come out of the right front. Does a gmrs antenna work the same? I had planned on mounting this antenna on the roof of my pick up.

    I recently purchased this mobil device and need some help programming repeaters. Can anyone walk me through it?

    I'm new to GMRS and my radio will arrive tomorrow. Its a midland MXT275 15 watts. I want to use a repeater but can't find one in my area. I'm in Torrance, CA (metropolitan L.A. area) Do they exist here.
