Thank you to the responders. I see it now... 95.1705 © (4) is for grandfathered licenses. Under that is (iii). That gives grandathered (only) licenses the opportunity to use the license for "associations." So, yes, individuals and families (as defined) need licenses! Thanks!
I see that the hold3er of a GMRS license can let others in his "association" use his GMRS license. We have local "associations" of neighbors organized for empergency preparedness. Does this count as an "association"? Can a GMRS licensee extend priviliges to all members of a 501( c) 3 amateur radio club? Any leads will be great!
