ODMaster App does support the TD-H3, but in "Select Model" you have to choose "TIDRADIO" not "TID" and you'll find all three versions: TD-H3 Ham, TD-H3 GMRS, and TD-H3.
My issue is if I select "Repeater" and search by frequency, it doesn't seem to go up high enough to get to the GMRS band (462 MHz) band.
Even if you "Select Model" the TD-H3 GMRS.

I use the CHIRP NEXT version of the programing software since it allows you to select "S" for skip in the scan column.
Then the NOAA Wx channels won't lock up in the channel scan mode on my H3.

I don't believe the H3 is actually scanning the VFO's.  It's scanning the channels programmed into the radio..  That's how I use my H3.

At home I use the SDRPlay RSPdx reciever as a panadapter hooked to a Diamond 3000N Super Discone, RX 25-3,000MHZ to actually scan for activity across the bands.

[Programming Tidradio td h3 using USB-c]

The supplied USB-C cable will work in the data and charging ports.  I use it to program and charge all the time.
The radio itself has the chip built in that is usually in the programming cable of the "Kenwood" type that uses the speaker/mic jacks.
You may need to update the driver so it it recognized as a different comm. port in device manager. It will likely NOT be COM 1.

Mine comes up:   COM4: USB-SERIAL CH340 (COM 4)  

If you remove the cable, this com port will disappear, and plugging it back in it will reappear in CHIRP and Device Manager.
This will confirm it's the correct COM port to select in CHIRP.
