Brand new. Have 2 repeater capable radios and would like to speak with someone in my family via use of a repeater. Confused on the receive vs transmit ctcss/dcs tone. I did a repeater check once i set my receive tone to CTC. Do both radios need to have the same settings for both the channel and the tone? And do both need to have both the receive and transmit tones set the same?
