I have asked another amateur friend of mine and did not get an answer that stopped my curiosity. I am licensed in amateur radio call W5CKB and GMRS WQUU332. I have been told however that amateur radio is for two way communication and not one way. My question is can I transmit on an amateur radio frequency (2 meter) to my family which are all covered under my GMRS license and have them listen on that channel and transmit back on a GMRS frequency that I in turn listen in on. Will this break the two way communication rule or is it ok?

Wow that's impressive if it reaches Baytown!

While driving home from my mothers yesterday I noticed some traffic on .725 pairs. Does anyone know of this repeater and if so if it is open for use? Also if anyone knows of anything East of the Channelview area into Baytown as far as repeaters go. Thanks, Troy WQUU332
