Think I got it. Its cold, I'm inside (so are antenna), squelch is set high and its filtering me out because of the static.

Fairly new to this. Testing my repeater connections with Midland MXT275 and BTECH GMRS-V1. I can hear conversations on both, but when I key up and talk on either and speak I cannot hear my TX, others can and I can talk to them, but I cannot hear myself. IE TX on 275 I cannot hear myself on the GMRS-V1. Kind of puzzled by this.

Yep figured it out, thank you. Also figured out that only 1-30 are programmable to RX/TX and then everything else is RX only.

Yes it does, have to find out what they are. There is a separate number under the channel on the Moto. Set it to 0 and bingo heard it.

I just got a BTECH GMRS-V1 and I have an old Motorola FRS K7GMJBGJ. I set the BTECH to GMRS Channel 1 and the Motorola to Channel 1, key the motorola and can here it on the BTECH, but not vice versa. Not sure what I am missing, or really if its possible.
