Many thanks ! Do you think the radio faceplate would stay with the use of some locktight (commercial Velcro?) or a suction cup? Wondering if I need to really screw through the plastic ?? what bracket did you use for the radio head/ faceplate ?

Hello has anyone successfully installed just the faceplate of the Wouxun 1000g overhead in a Jeep Wrangler, with the main body installed elsewhere ? I haven’t been able to find a mount that will support just the faceplate. Seems as if every mount wants to install the entire radio overhead.
