gm15 opened up for ham freqs?

Is there a way to open up the gm15 for ham radio frequencies.  ??

I have read that some other Baofeng radios can be unlocked for ham radio

I don’t think so.  You MAY from what I understand be able to totally reprogram the software firm ware to be a ham version of some other radio.   
 

it’s much easier to buy a ham radio that is already open or very easily opened to gmrs.

For $20 from AliExpress I purchased the UV-13Pro and achieved the same results.

Someone posted here not too long ago on how to do it but I agree that it would be better to just buy the ham version.
