DIY

Ok I'm very much a nubie, but I have a question that might seem dumb but here goes. I have a baofeng GM 15 Pro and I'm going through the menu and came across something called DIY I have no idea what it is or what to do with it. This…if you need a second set of repeater channels.  Start slow and learn about setting up repeaters near you using the first set of “repeater channels”.  Welcome!!

I don't have a GM15 Pro, but I found this reddit thread - looks like it's a second set of repeater channels you can set up for different tones.

Only use that option when re-doing the floors in your bathroom or painting the house. Not sure if mowing your lawn counts, but you can give it a try.
