I'm thinking about getting a Radioddity DB25-G GMRS Mobile Radio 25 watt.

I had a DB20-G on that mount and they both got stolen out of my garage!  I purchased another DB20-G and built the "plumber's plug" cup mount somewhere here on this forum!

UPDATE: Here it is:

I recently picked up a DB20-G after a little more than a year with a DB25-G. Both radios have their share of programming quirks and quality issues (I guess that is what you get for ~$100 CCRs). As I previously wrote in this thread, I also ordered and returned 2 DB25-Gs to Amazon for quality issues. Both are known for outputting less than the advertised power and that is what I found with my units. The power output (using an SW102 w/50 watt dummy load) on the repeater channels from my DB25-G is L(8.6)/M(14.5)/H(16.1) and for my DB20-G is L(4.5)/M(8.8)/H(17.1). While the high output difference should not really matter, I find it interesting the "lower power" radio had a higher output. I am also not sure what the point of including a medium option on the DB25-G if it is going to be that close to the high power.

DB25-G
Pros: Screen size/customization options, up to quad watch (if you can keep track of that many channels at once), CHIRP support
Cons: Quad watch can be clunky/a pain to make sure you have the correct channel selected, jumps to channel even if tone does not match, power output far from advertised, multi-step unlock process that cannot be undone (so I read, haven't tried it)

DB20-G
Pro: CHIRP support (limited), easily unlocked and can be set back to GMRS, good speaker/sound quality
Cons: CHIRP missing some options that can't be configured on the radio (CPS required), number of TX channels limited in GMRS mode, bug in GMRS mode that changes "Main B" to VFO every time the radio restarts, small screen/Main B channel is very small when using dual watch

I think either radio is a decent choice, but it seems like the DB20-G has a much better reputation. If I need to order another in the future, I'll most likely stick with the DB20-G.
