Another Repeater Access Question

I know everyone is probably tired of these questions, but as someone new to GMRS I want to be a good user, so I gotta ask. If I l look at a repeater's info and it's listed as Open and it says that "Access Requests Disabled By Owner" does this mean it OK to use the repeater?

Yes, and it means the owner doesn’t want to be asked.

When you go onto the repeater for the 1st time announce your call sign, maybe your first name and thank the owner of the repeater for being able to use it.  Maybe they'll hear it, maybe they won't.  Maybe someone else will and tell them.  And then enjoy using it.

Yup.. besides, GMRS bites don't hurt.   Go for it
