Guest Guest Posted April 5, 2020 Report Share Posted April 5, 2020 Hi! I have acquired 2 Motorola M1225 radios. I have an ID-O-Matic for the controller. I am having issues with the transmit radio not keying up. I have set the M1225 receive radio to COR active low. Can anyone shed some light on how to get the transmit radio to key up? Guest Chris Posted April 17, 2020 Report Share Posted April 17, 2020 Chris here, no GMRS call yet but WA7ZAF in another service. I have a 220Mhz repeater on the air. I originally had one of those cheap Chinese duplexers on it but it had trouble receiving signals from 5w handhelds that were further than 10 to 12 miles away. I put a full size, $1600 Telewave duplexer on it and now I can hit it from inside my office with a 5w HT from 20 miles away. The duplexer can make a HUGE difference in receive sensitivity.
