I like the idea of the Icom 6061 can be upgraded to digital and the face plate can be mounted seperately. But have also heard the kenwood is a solid unit. gortex2 Posted January 1, 2021 Report Share Posted January 1, 2021 You cant run digital on GMRS so it really doesn't matter with you get. The ICOM is a solid unit as is the Kenwood.
