Hi all.  Anybody know of a repeater near Oxford OH?  I just moved here so I'm not familiar with the locations of the towns named when I search in OH.  I don't see how to search by zip code.  Thanks for any help!

You can search using the map instead of the repeater listing. Just click on the map tab on the MyGMRS home page. That should help you find what's close to you.

Keep in mind though, that to use any of the listed repeaters (or any that aren't listed) for transmitting still requires permission from the repeater owner. If you click on one of the repeaters on the map, it will give you the details of that repeater.

There are repeaters on 462.700 located in Cincinnati and Dayton. both owned by the same person. Odds are that in Oxford you can hear and likely access both with the right equipment. Both are extremely high profile and are the most widely used in the region.

All that said, you must have permission to use them. A phone call and discussion with the owner is required in advance. Contact information is available on this site.
