New to GMRS need equipment

Considering Wouxun 1000G - 9G pro and 905G

Usage will be general communication and extra radio for daughter (adult) as needed camping. . .

I own and use all 3 of those radios, and they are all great.  The 9G Pro is a bit more complicated than then 905G which is very simple & easy to use.  The 1000G is probably the best GMRS mobile unit you can buy today.

KG-935G

I don't have the 1000G but have the 905G and the 935G. I purchased the 9G Pro for my son-in-law and did some programming on it. The main reason I prefer the 935G and 905G is the can share batteries. I purchased one spare and it can be used on both handhelds. All are good radios though, IMO.

I have and use the KG1000 G and I am very happy with it. I use it for back country Jeep adventures and local repeaters. My Ham buddy just bought one is is now setting it up for his Jeep. I have tried the Kenwood TK 8180 and it is solid but lacks some features I want. Good luck!!
