myGMRS Repeater issue

I've been trying to hit the MyGMRS repeater (24901) in Bountiful, Utah, but it only seems to key and you never hear anyone or anything. It's it possible the repeater is not functioning correctly? I've triple checked my settings and still only see it key but am receiving nothing. It's clearly getting my uplink and rebroadcasting but just silent.

If you can trigger the repeater, then it is entirely possible no one is listening. Repeater use can be driven by many things such as drive time or only evening or weekends depending on the community it serves.

So stupid question time. Being that repeater is a node on myGMRS would I be able to hear others from other nodes nationwide? Would I have an issue with the weekly/monthly net meetings for region/national?

At this time of posting it's not linked to any other repeaters so that would explain why you aren't hearing traffic from any other systems.  The owner would have to link it to some other system to make that happen.  If it's not linked it should act as a stand-alone system.  If you click the green bubble on the link above it shows it was last keyed 15 hours ago so someone was keying it
