Stripes Posted November 1, 2022 Report Posted November 1, 2022 Hello internet! Very odd and specific question to ask, but does anyone have or know where I can buy a Motorola XTS4000 belt clip? I have a xts4000 for guest services at work and I love the appeal of the flip phone ascetic and would like to have a better way of carrying my radio aside from stuffing it in a pocket. If anyone has one and would be willing to sell it to me, I'm open to the idea. I've tried my best to find simular ones but generic pouch kinds are unfavorable due to having to flip the radio open to change channels and zones. Thanks! Quote
gortex2 Posted November 1, 2022 Report Posted November 1, 2022 Can you snap a pic of the battery. The NTN8266B comes back as the belt clip but there are 2 different ones. Quote
KAF6045 Posted November 1, 2022 Report Posted November 1, 2022 There is always the generic... https://www.amazon.com/Universal-Smartphones-Cameras-Talkies-Remotes/dp/B00006JPBY/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=adhesive+belt+clip&qid=1667340938&qu=eyJxc2MiOiI0LjU2IiwicXNhIjoiNC4wMCIsInFzcCI6IjMuNTEifQ%3D%3D&sr=8-4 Quote

gortex2 Posted November 4, 2022 Report Posted November 4, 2022 That battery doesn't allow for a clip. the XTS was dropped quite some time ago and it does not look like there are replacements online. I'd look for some sort of leather style case for it (universal). Quote
PACNWComms Posted November 4, 2022 Report Posted November 4, 2022 I clicked on this as I had no clue what a Motorola XTS4000 was, only XTS1500/2500/3000/5000 LMR's, so this was interesting for me. Attaching this link, as you may be able to get parts, battery/belt clip through a Motorola vendor that may have "new old stock" or more information on a belt clip. https://www.ebay.com/itm/151191959689 Quote
gortex2 Posted November 5, 2022 Report Posted November 5, 2022 Ya I checked MOL and found nothing. We had a few for investigators in UHF TLMR when we did the system. None I ever saw had a belt clip. Most of the guys would put them in there pocket of the jacket. Quote
Stripes Posted November 7, 2022 Author Report Posted November 7, 2022 I found a part number, NNTN6945A. Searching for it doesn't seem to bring up much info but there isn't much info on the radio it self anyways. Quote
