Hmm, why would an owner need to update information on a running repeater that is active?  I can understand if the repeater isn't on the air but if it's running what sort of update is needed?

Without some kind of update the site doesn’t know the repeater is running.

Presumably nothing needs to be changed; just touched to inform the site that the repeater is running.

This thread does bring up a point. Do answering requests count as activity?

The person I know with a repeater that went stale has an open repeater, because no request are needed he dosn't respond to request.  Maybe that's why it went stale. I know this doesn't answer the question but it could be a clue.

Have a question. I have seven (7) GMRS repeaters in North Carolina. Let's go hypothetical here. With this number of machines its tough to keep and make everybody happy. So folks may get mouthy and say or post something in their anger that may or may not be true or accurate. Let's say someone posts a negative comment on one of my repeater pages. Mind you, there is no and will never be a reason for a negative comment. All the same, how does a comment get removed? I realize i can remove a reply generated from me, but I can not remove a comment from others. Says I do not have sufficient permission. I have put a request in to the "contact" area and have gotten no reply. Thought I would try another angle.

Thanks guys,
