TangoKilo Posted March 2, 2023 Report Posted March 2, 2023 Have a question. I have seven (7) GMRS repeaters in North Carolina. Let's go hypothetical here. With this number of machines its tough to keep and make everybody happy. So folks may get mouthy and say or post something in their anger that may or may not be true or accurate. Let's say someone posts a negative comment on one of my repeater pages. Mind you, there is no and will never be a reason for a negative comment. All the same, how does a comment get removed? I realize i can remove a reply generated from me, but I can not remove a comment from others. Says I do not have sufficient permission. I have put a request in to the "contact" area and have gotten no reply. Thought I would try another angle. Thanks guys, Tim W4ADC / WRKH438 Quote

Have you tried sending a message to https://mygmrs.com/contact ? He’s usually pretty good about responding. Hope this helps. Quote
WRUU653 Posted March 2, 2023 Report Posted March 2, 2023 Ah yes you did, sorry I miss read that. Thought you had reached out to who left the comment. Sorry I’m no help here. Quote
SteveShannon Posted March 2, 2023 Report Posted March 2, 2023 Tim, You're right. Someone will always be unhappy, no matter what you do. The problem is that if repeater owners are allowed to remove negative comments, every repeater will only have positive comments. Reviews will no longer have any value. You may be better leaving them in place. Many of us are capable of weeding out BS reviews from honest reviews. Steve WRUU653 1 Quote
TangoKilo Posted March 3, 2023 Author Report Posted March 3, 2023 Hello Steve . I appreciate the reply. And yes you are absolutely correct. However, the "many" of us are a very small percentage, Ha !!!! Thanks for the opinion.... Tim WRKH438 / W4ADC SteveShannon 1 Quote
WRUE951 Posted March 3, 2023 Report Posted March 3, 2023 more positive comments will overrule a negative comment. So carry on.. SteveShannon and WRUU653 2 Quote
