gmrs repeater to cover the carrizo plains?

This is WRZD570 is there a repeater that covers the Carrizo Plains area.

Not according to the Repeater Map on this site. It has been a year since I drove through there but I didn't hear anything scanning on my mobile radio.

Pretty long shots but, the Tulare ARC repater (.700) is high level and might get over the ridge into that valley.  Joaquin Ridge (.575) is closer, but will be probably be scattering off of the coast range along the path.

700 would be the best shot.  Possible mobile coverage.  Base stations in Bakersfield can access it, but they are not behind the ridge.

Did that work out for you? I'm headed that way in a week and was wondering the same thing! I have Joaquin's info. Wondering if Tulare worked out for ya.

Have mostly been off the radio for a couple months, but I overheard the owner of Joaquin Ridge a couple weeks ago stating that it was down .  I believe it is being relocated, but I was not paying full attention to his conversation with another party.  A check of their website did not provide any confirming information.
