Setting up DPL on Baofeng GM 15 Pro

New to ham and trying to setup a local repeater. I downloaded the transfer alternative to Chirp software, and have an approval from the repeater operator to use the repeater. I have the frequencies set TX 467.625/  and RX 462.625. He added the TX DPL as 315 and RX as 411. Are these important to set to use the repeater? All I see on the setup software is CTCSS/CDCSS decode (none) and CTCSS/CDCSS Encode (none)... Thanks for your input. A little confused

TX = Encode, RX = Decode.

You need to Encode, you don't have to Decode unless you want to filter out everything else but the repeater.

It is recommended to leave the RX out until you have everything else working and then add it so you don't have to listing to all the extra stuff on the frequency.

BTW: GMRS is not HAM. 😉

You did not mention which software, so I took the liberty of assuming it was one or the other, for purposes of this tutorial answer:
