Question

Hello all. I am fairly new to the GRMS scene and I have just started working with some new radios. I have had a Kenwood TK-880-1 since I started with the fire department in 2001. When our department closed I removed the radio from my POV and mothballed it. I have recently pulled it out of retirement. When doing this I came across its higher power brother the TK-880H. I ordered one of these used off eBay. My plan was to clone my 880 to the 880h. So far I haven’t been able to do this.

my first question is my 880H keeps talking about groups when I go to program it. My 880 was pretty straight forward to add grms freq. to. This 880H seems different and I am not really sure if I am doing something wrong or what??? Any help on this would be amazing. Thank you in advance.

I will have to see what the firmware is. I did get it to start squelching by switching it to narrow from wide. this seems to have fixed the issue for now.
