Can transmit to one repeater, but not the other?

Question

Posted

I've been communicating with folks on a local repeater, but when I switch to the appropriate channels/tone to another local repeater, I can receive but not transmit. I was able to transmit to the repeater before. This does come after the repeater is down, but I have heard other folks transmitting and receiving since it came back up. I tried a different radio just in case, with the same result. Any thoughts?

Radio info: Radioddity GM30.

Could be input tone changed, could be leaves are growing and your line of site is gone now. You could be hearing simplex users on the same frequency as the output.

They may have, I'll have to scan for a different tone. It's the same per the repeater map but maybe not updated.

Thank you! I hadn't thought of that.
