My Btech GMRS Pro handheld can hear my FRS buddies on Channel 4 but I cannot transmit - simple solution?

Not sure what I am doing wrong but we are at camp and I can hear my 3 FRS radios that our scouts are using but my BTech GMRS Pro won't transmit. I have not changed any settings. Any thoughts on a fix?

The FRS radios may have a tone set. Some of them come that way.

Likely this. Tones / Privacy Tones / Sub channels. They're all different words for the same thing.
