Identifying a DB-404b antenna

With the db-404b antenna,  is there a stamped model number anywhere on the antenna?  If a guy collects these and they're laying in a pile with other antennas how do I know if it's the one I want?

What equipment is used to test the antenna to see if it's good?

I'm ooking for a "deal" in a pile instead of paying full price.

I don’t know about the Commscope, but some antennas do have a nameplate like this one from our repeater‘s 2 meter antenna:

I use the db408-b on my repeater, There is a label with all the info at the base of the antenna, but if it has been in service for years, it may be faded or missing. It is only a sticker.
