I am installing my GMRS radio in my ranger 1000.my radio is going to be installed under the passenger bench seat. then I will run the mic/ control head through the seat box. I think I have a pretty good plan but, my question is. I have a fused wiring harness is there any reason I shouldn't just catch my power right from the 12 volt battery? that way the power will be clean power. the radio is a Retevis RA86, 20 Watt GMRS Radio.
