I'm Keith and I'm checking in from Lebanon. I monitor the Lebanon repeater most evenings. I'm only using a Btech handheld with the original rubber duck antenna, but I have been able to contact others in Murfreesboro. I plan to set up a base station in the future to increase my range. I'd really like to have good comms out to 30mi from Lebanon if possible.

I'm WRKP867, feel free to reach out.

Welcome to the club, @WRFK988 and @kstaff7 (WRKP867)! Glad to have yall.

I'm Jeffrey. I usually monitor Brentwood 600, Gallatin 650, and sometimes I scan Nashville 575 & 625 as well as Lebanon 675. We host a weekly check-in net on Brentwood 600 at 8pm every Wednesday. Love to have yall monitor and/or key up and check-in!

Hi guys. WSKW921 here. I'm Ryan up in Goodlettsville but I travel down in Brentwood a few times a week for work. Usually monitoring Lebanon 625 and Gallatin 700. Currently on a 5W hand held but looking to build a home base station soon

Hey there @WSKW921! Welcome to the club! If you're traveling around those roads, I'd recommend you add Gallatin 650 and Brentwood 600 to your monitor list. Those are the two largest footprint repeaters in the area. In fact, our weekly check-in net happens every Wednesday evening at 8pm on Brentwood 600. We'd love for you to join us!

Hi folks! I'm James at WSKV697 and my kid, Everett, and I checked into the repeater net last night and really appreciated how friendly it was! We just got our license in December and he's been itching to find anyone to chat with besides me since then.

We are in South Nashville, between Brentwood and Antioch, so the Brentood 600 works great for us.

Thanks again!

Howdy! My name is Jared, and I'm a ham getting into GMRS. Call here is WSLK262! Just got a TD-H3 Pro, and just started messing around with it. I'm right in nashville, so usually I can hear repeaters, but still trying to hit them!

looking to add a mobile setup in the truck for when I'm out and about!

Ha! I did! I'm a glutton for punishment. I could hear a net tonight, tried to hit the repeater, but failed from inside my apartment sadly, unless I had the tones wrong? What nets are weeknights at 8PM?

@WSLK262 -- you likely heard the status report net on the Gallatin repeater at 462.650. It's CTCSS tones are 141.3 with standard +5 offset. They've been doing daily nets at 8pm just this week to take status reports from people in the aftermath of the ice storm.

The regularly scheduled weekly nets, however, are....

This club's net on Wednesday evenings at 8pm on Brentwood 462.600 (tones are 123.0, standard +5 offset)

and

Sumner Ready net on Saturday evenings at 8pm at the aforementioned Gallatin repeater.
