In my area I use the Orlando700 which is starting to really pick up and down Hutchinson Island / Stuart area I use the Hobe Sound 600 & Ft Pierce 575. It is unfortunate, the 575 is no longer interconnected with other repeaters do to the FCC rules BS changes - but still fun to keep in touch w family & friends in the area.

In need of assistance - from my home in Debary most traffic is on Grant that I hear clearly but I have yet to get a response.  40 watt radio with Ed fong j-pole about 15 feet up.  I have a basic understanding of tones but to no avail.  Same deal with all other locals - Deland, Deltona, Ft Drum etc.  Yes I am a noob.  Thank you.

well what is your question?

are you hearing the grant repeater down south of Melbourne??

i bet you are hearing the Orlando 700 with a DCS/DPL of 223. so your rx is 462.700 tx is 267.70 and a dpl of 223.

there are many repeaters on 700.

also the viliages 700 has a dpl of 023 it is in wildwood.
