WSDA306 Posted December 31, 2024 Report Posted December 31, 2024 (edited) Looks like TidRadio posted this today, firmware update for TD-H3 radios. I wish they would put some info in there to let us know what changed. Im sure many of you that are much more savvy than me can figure out what if anything changed. I already installed it, seems to work fine but I dont see offhand any differences yet. EDIT: //(Sorry, this update was from 11/19/24) for some reason when I downloaded the package zip in Windows explorer it shows the date as today even though I have not extracted it, but looking at it in Winzip, it shows the original date of 11/19/24) Edited December 31, 2024 by WSDA306 incorrect information. LeoG Posted December 31, 2024 Report Posted December 31, 2024 240702 works good for me. Fixed the previous firmwares issues of not releasing the squelch in a timely manner. SteveShannon 1 Quote

LeoG Posted Wednesday at 11:43 PM Report Posted Wednesday at 11:43 PM Hey! I found a difference in the new 240817 vs 240702 firmware. The signal meter actually works. On all versions previous to the 817 firmware when you received a signal the meter showed 4 bars. Today I just noticed that I was receiving a signal with 1 bar and it fluctuated to 2 bars. So it's actually showing signal strength instead of just receiving a signal. WSDM599 1 Quote
LeoG Posted Thursday at 01:21 AM Report Posted Thursday at 01:21 AM Doesn't take much to get the signal to show 4 bars though. Has to be a pretty weak signal to show 3 or less on the meter. I know some of the hacked version firmware have made the power meter the signal strength meter which is a very cool idea. Quote
