Question regrading the Radioddity GM-30 Plus

I'm new to GMRS and am looking at the Radioddity GM-30 Plus handheld radio. I do a bit of traveling and am wondering if this radio, or any other GMRS handheld for that matter, will allow transmitting on GMRS repeaters that are programmed into the 970 "additional" channels. I would like to program say all the GMRS repeaters in the state so as I travel, I can simply select a preprogrammed repeater as opposed to having to stop and reprogram the CTCSS or DCS tone into one of the 8 preprogrammed repeater channels.

Yes.

The GM-30 Plus has 10 banks of 100 channels, and you can use any channel for either a GMRS frequency (that you can transmit on) or a VHF or UHF channel you want to monitor only.  The one restriction to note is that the radio can only use one bank at a time.  As long as you have 100 or fewer repeaters you want to program (which I'm going to guess is the case) you can put them all in one bank; if you have 101 or more you will have to change banks at some point ... but still easier than reprogramming!
