Yes absolutely, this is the place to list your repeater if you wish for it to be somewhat public. The main reason is for band cooperation. So others know who, what and where the repeaters are so that nobody sets up on your doorstep. Repeater cooperation is very important given the limited bandwith allotted to GMRS repeaters.2 points -

I was on an hour before Bill came on. I heard you in my backyard on my baofeng w/ a Nagoya 771 I hopped in the mobile to reach you as my mobile has more power to the repeater. I later heard you on my base- on the roof I have an " ed fong /ebay" antenna - your signal was 5ish and strong. That antenna is great with a baofeng btw.. 30.00! 731 point
