  1. You are absolutely correct... two different repeaters...
  2. DLRCS is listed at myGMRS.com on the map and the listing but is not listed in the iOS app. I type in the search window and it is not recognized. How are these two usually sync'd up? Thanks, Russell
  3. I am trying to better understand how to use repeaters in my area and need some help understanding CTCSS and DCS. The attached PDF file shows a particular repeater in Dallas, TX. Once source from an app on my iPhone shows input and output frequencies for tones. An online source using my laptop at mygmrs.com uses DPL for input and output tones. Are they both correct? Are they the same? See attached pdf file.. CTCSS vs DCS Questions.pdf
  4. I had the same issue with power output on my MTX500. Midland claims they bench test every radio on power output. Mine only put out 39 watts. I sent is back for warranty repair because in was not even close to being in the +/_ wattage output specification. They returned the unit to me and it was damaged in shipment. They sent me another radio and I asked them to test it before the sent it to me. When I received the new unit it measured 48 watt output which is within their specification output.
  5. Newbie here.... I have a Midland MTX500 and need some help correlating different terms. Which one in the input tone and which one is the output tone? CTCSS/DCS Decode= CTSS/DCS Encode= Thanks, Russell
